NEWS RELEASE
CITY OF TIMMINS
*************************
As of March 15, 2018, the weekly parking rate at the Timmins Victor M. Power Airport will see a slight increase.

While daily and hourly automobile parking rates will remain the same, travelers leaving their vehicles at the airport for an extended period of time will see an increase from $40/week (seven days), to $50 per week.

The hourly and daily rates remain:

  • First hour free
  • Hourly rate of $2.50
  • Daily rate of $10

Residents are reminded that parking in front of the terminal is prohibited. The curb lane is a Fire Route and vehicles will be ticketed. Instead, we ask that people park in the vehicle lot (free for first hour), wait on the east side access road and have your passenger call for pick up or continue to circle the parking road and wait for a spot in our 15 minute parking outside the terminal.

Due to increased travel, particularly over the March break, automobile parking is limited, and travelers are encouraged to consider being dropped off for travel during peak times.
