Schumacher Lions donate funds for new poles at Peace Park

The Timmins Local Immigration Partnership (TLIP) recently received a donation of $2,000 from the Schumacher Lions Club.

Funds will be used to install and decorate 10 new peace poles and flags on all new and existing polls Schumacher International Peace Park, inside the Lions Park, located behind the McIntyre Arena.

The Schumacher International Peace Park was opened in 2021 with 20 peace poles, each decorated by its host cultural organization.
