Soccer fans! Catch Euro Cup action in Schumacher this weekend

The popular tournament is kicking off this week, and the Croatian Hall is hosting a watch party

The stage is set for one of the biggest soccer (or football, as it's called in Europe) tournaments. 

The UEFA European Championship kicks off on June 14, and the Croatian Society in Schumacher is ready to cheer on their team. 

Saturday, June 15, catch the Croatia vs. Spain game on the big screen at the Croatian Hall, 24 Father Costello Dr. 

While there's no admission fee, cash donations are appreciated, with the proceeds going back into the facility. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the game kicking off at noon. 

There is a cash bar, which opens at 11 a.m., and homemade sausages are available for $7 each (cash only). All ages are welcome to attend.

The Euro Cup runs from June 14 to July 14, with Germany hosting the 2024 edition of the popular tournament. Croatia is in Group B, along with Italy, Albania and Spain. The group play runs until June 26, with the knockout stage starting June 29. 

The championship match is on Sunday, July 14 in Berlin.
