Signs are going up, and new shopping options for Timmins residents are just weeks away from their grand openings.
The new Pet Smart and Dollarama locations at 77 Warterloo Rd. are both gearing up to welcome customers within the next two months.
Dollarama is set to open its doors by the end of April, according to Maxime-E. Illick, Dollarama’s director of communications, in an email to TimminsToday.
While an official date hasn’t been confirmed, Amber Schlaefer, a communications representative for PetSmart, said the store is eyeing an early April opening.
The new PetSmart location will offer a range of pet supplies, including food, toys, and accessories, along with additional services such as pet grooming and adoptions through PetSmart Charities and local organizations.
Once open, Dollarama will have four locations in Timmins.’
The building at 77 Waterloo Rd. previously housed Value Village until its closure in 2022.
