The Sports for Kids Timmins Charity Golf Tournament is looking for 11 more teams.  All money raised goes to help children from low-income families play organized sports in the Timmins area.

The event! is an 18-hole, four-person scramble and teams can be all men, all women or a mix. It takes place at Hollinger Golf Course, Sunday July 14. Registration is at 10:30 am, brunch at 11 a.m. and tee off at 12:45 p.m.

Registration is $125 for non-Hollinger members and $100 for Hollinger members and includes:

  • 18 holes of golf;
  • golf cart for every 2 players;
  • Upgraded Brunch at 11:00 am;
  • Every player receives a $50.00 or more prize during brunch;
  • Prizes for the event include: Lowest score, and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th lowest score; Male and Female closest to the pin., longest drive and closest to the Sports for Kids Sign;
  • Hole in one on 8th Hole for $35,000.00 towards a new Toyota vehicle;
  • Fun events with prizes from Northern College and College Boreal;
  • Free treats (coffee, tea, donuts and muffins) complements Tim Hortons;
  • Snacks and water on golf carts provided by Pepsico and FritoLay;
  • Total of 170 prizes with a total value of $11,700

Payment by e-transfer with one form and one payment per team to [email protected] or a cheque for the entire team to Sports for Kids Timmins, which can be dropped off with a completed form to 388 Ross Ave. East . For more information contact Colleen Landers 705-266-3201.
