As battery electric vehicles (BEVs) become more common in mining fleets, Workplace Safety North wants to ensure they're being maintained and managed safely.
The training organization is hosting a one-day symposium in February to examine Battery Electric Vehicle Safety in Mines.
Slated for Feb. 9, the event is geared toward general managers, mine managers, health and safety managers, supervisors, joint health and safety committee representatives, and maintenance and procurement professionals.
The symposium is expected to cover industry case studies, hazard management, equipment manufacturing, and training and risk assessment.
In-person registration for the conference is now full, however, virtual attendance is still available.
