A little Christmas magic will be touring the north once again this year.

The schedule for Ontario Northland's annual Christmas train has been released, and it will be making stops in Iroquois Falls, Matheson, Swastika and more.

At last year's stop in Matheson, hundreds of people stopped by to see the brightly decorated freight train, which offers kids a chance to meet up with Santa, sing a few carols, and enjoy the start of the holiday season. This year, foam light-up sticks will also be available for $5, with the proceeds going to local charities.

Stops in the north start Dec. 1 in Moosonee.
