TIMMINS - A popular local food truck is moving to a more permanent location to serve up delicious eats.
Your Choice Culinary has taken up residence at the Collège Boréal campus on Theriault Boulevard with its tasty selection of burgers, sandwiches, poutine, and garlic parm fries.
“We are excited to serve everyone,” said owner Dixit Patel.
Your Choice Culinary has been a popular stop over the summer at Full Beard Brewing’s patio, and bringing those options to the students at Collège Boréal was an easy decision, said Timmins campus director Mélanie Dufresne.
“The winter months are coming and he might be able to look into another opportunity,” she said. “It’s just the perfect partnership to have at the college, and with his diverse menu, we know that we would be very happy to have Your Choice Culinary at Collège Boréal.”
Prior to this partnership, the college was working with Ciao Sandwich, which is opening a downtown Timmins location soon.

Patel is looking forward to feeding the students and the general public in the new location.
“I have lots of homemade foods, and we’re going to do something special every day,” he said.
Many of the students and staff in attendance praised the garlic parm fries and poutine, which were popular dishes during the soft launch of the campus location during the summer as well as at the food truck.
The restaurant will be open in the Collège Boréal cafeteria seven days a week, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday, and noon to 5 p.m. on weekends.
“Everyone’s welcome, there’s lots of free parking,” said Dufresne.
The food truck will still be at Full Beard Brewing until it snows and they shut down for the season.
The Your Choice Culinary burger was recently named best in town by KiSS 99.3, and Patel said he hopes people will come and try it for themselves.
“I hope people come and see us for the best food in town!”
