Three more COVID cases reported in Timmins

Three new COVID-19 cases are being reported in Timmins this afternoon. 

These cases are in addition to the ones announced this morning.

All of the people are the contact of a case and in self-isolation, according to the Porcupine Health Unit.

To date, there have been 376 confirmed cases of the virus in the health unit region. There are 26 known active cases and 25 people have died.

For the active cases, 22 are in Timmins, two are in the area of Cochrane, Matheson, Iroquois Falls and Smooth Rock Falls, one is in the Kapuskasing area, and one is in the area of Hearst, Hornepayne.

There are COVID-19 assessment centres in Timmins, Cochrane, Iroquois Falls, Kapuskasing, Smooth Rock Falls, Hearst, and Hornepayne.
