TIMMINS - Brandon Perry will be behind the Timmins Rock bench a little longer.

The Junior A hockey club has announced they've extended head coach Perry's contract by three years.

“We are thrilled to have Brandon remain as our head coach” said Ted Gooch, Timmins Rock president, in a news release.

“His dedication to our program and his ability to get the best out of our players have been instrumental to our success. We believe he is the right leader to guide us toward even greater accomplishments.”

In the 2022-23 season, Perry led The Rock to a championship and helped create a winning culture on and off the ice.

“Brandon has proven time and time again that he is not just a great coach, but also a tremendous ambassador for our organization. His commitment to player development and his ability to inspire our team have been key to our success. We are excited to see where he takes this group in the future," said Gooch.
