TIMMINS - Mail delivery in Timmins and the surrounding areas is being stopped due to the weather.
Canada Post has issued a red delivery service alert for today (March 20). It suspends delivery for the day.
"There will also be no regular collection during red alerts. Delivery and mail collection will resume once conditions improve and it’s safe to do so. The safety of our employees is our number one priority," reads the notice.
