With masks, physical distancing and a much smaller crowd than usual — Timmins Legion Branch 88 held its annual Remembrance Day ceremony today,
About 100 participants and people from the community were at the Timmins cenotaph for the short service.
It featured the Last Post and Reveille, a reading of Flanders Fields and and the main wreaths were laid during the ceremony. Prior to the event starting, most of the community wreaths were placed in front of the cenotaph.
A small service was also held at the South Porcupine Legion today.
