Members of the Timmins Police Service – Senior Administration were on hand on Tuesday, April 2 at the Ontario Police College in Aylmer, Ontario, for the graduation ceremonies for three new Timmins Police Cadets.
These new officers have completed an intensive training regime that encompasses provincial and federal statutes, powers of arrest, and a host of other academic necessities that will serve them throughout their careers.
These cadets will assume the rank of Constable once they have sworn their Oath of Office, which is a separate ceremony presided over by a Justice of the Peace in Timmins. They will be performing law enforcement duties under the watchful eye and tutelage of their respective coach officers.
The Timmins Police Service acknowledges this recent academic achievement of these fine young men and welcomes them to the Timmins Police Service while wishing them success and good luck in their law enforcement endeavors.
