A local cricket club promised to bring the championship trophy home and have lived up to their word.
The Timmins Tigers won the 2024 cricket championship hosted in Thunder Bay Aug. 9-11.
There were five teams representing Northern Ontario at the tournament.
In the championship game on Sunday, Timmins and Thunder Bay took to the pitch with the Tigers taking the win and tournament trophy.
