Timmins Ward 5 Resident, Jason Boissonneault, Announces Candidacy

Local resident, Jason Boissonneault has announced his intention to run as councillor for Ward 5. Jason was born and raised in the heart of Timmins and is a graduate from O’Gorman High School.

Local resident, Jason Boissonneault has announced his intention to run as councillor for Ward 5.   Jason was born and raised in the heart of Timmins and is a graduate from O’Gorman High School.   Upon completion of his post-secondary studies, earning an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree, Jason returned to his northern roots to establish his career and life.

His work experience includes years of service as an Ontario Fire Ranger as well as work within the private sector.  Currently, Jason helps local businesses start and develop business ideas in his role as a Small Business Coordinator. Jason is a passionate supporter of our local community, currently volunteering as a board member for South Cochrane Addictions Services.

Jason is committed to voicing the needs and concerns of Timmins residents and providing a fresh perspective in municipal decision making. Jason brings to council sound business background, working experience with local entrepreneurs and is focused on helping develop Timmins through innovative ideas.

Jason emphasizes the need for more collaboration within the community, partnering people and organizations together to achieve a common goal.  Jason Boissonneault is motivated to work with all constituents and residents of the City of Timmins and intends to bring his passion to his seat on council.

Ward 5 is presently represented by Todd Lever, Andrew Marks, Michael Doody and Steven Black.
