A Timmins woman needs the community's help to make it on the cover of Maxim magazine.
Kelsey Smith is competing in the online Maxim Cover Girl contest.
So far she's made it through three rounds of voting. To move on to the quarterfinals, she needs to win this round. Right now, she's in third place and voting ends Thursday, May 20 at 10 p.m.
The grand prize is $25,000 cash as well as a photoshoot to appear on the cover of the magazine.
Smith owns a nail salon and is also an upcoming rapper whose artist name is Kazza.
“I’m just always online just trying to network and do things so I’m always signing up for things. Sometimes I don’t even remember signing up for them and that’s kind of what happened with this,” she said.
She said modelling goes hand-in-hand with rapping.
“As a rapper it’s not just music anymore, it’s all about your online presence, looks, everything. Even with my music I find myself doing a lot of photoshoots for content for online,” she said.
