Several officers from the Timmins Police Service have joined the Movember movement. As part of the Mo-Po network, these officers will help to raise awareness and funds to support men’s health by participating in the Great Canadian Police Challenge.

The Mo-Po network is a group of police services who have joined in the campaign and, as a group, have raised over $60,000.

“Movember is a fun way to get involved with a charity, and being such a large group of men, it’s a charity that hits pretty close to home,” said Constable Rhyan Rathbone, who is attempting to grow the ‘fullest mustache’ in the department.

Along with several police constables, Deputy Chief Des Walsh has also handed over control of his upper lip for the month.
