Water safety advisory ends for Porcupine Lake

The water safety advisory for Porcupine Lake has ended. 

Last week, the Timmins Flood Advisory Committee issued the warning as rain elevated the water levels on Porcupine Lake and Porcupine River. The water from the lake was spilling over onto the boardwalk downtown South Porcupine.

The statement was cancelled yesterday (Sept. 20).
