Weather still impacting Timmins mail delivery

TIMMINS - Mail delivery in Timmins continues to be affected by the weather. 

Canada Post has issued a red alert for services in Timmins and the surrounding area.

It means delivery is being suspended, and delivery agents aren't being sent out or are being recalled. Mail is also not being collected. 

"Delivery and mail collection will resume once conditions improve and it's safe to do so. the safety of our employees is our number one priority," reads the alert.

In Northern Ontario, there's also a red alert in effect for Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie.
