MURRAY, Jill (nee Dempsey)

Passed away peacefully on May 25, 2016 at the age of 68 years. Predeceased by her husband Thomas Murray. Beloved mother and stepmother survived by Terry (Charlotte), Stephen (Gail), Patricia (Bruce), Peter (Connie), Rick (Monic) and Scott. Predeceased by son Jack (Kim Last-Murray-surviving) and Thomas Murray, Jr..  Cherished grandma of 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Dear daughter of Margaret (Peggy) Dempsey and the late Jack Dempsey. Dear sister of Jack, Joy, Jimmy, Jerry, Joel, Jonny, Michael, Wayne, Terry and Gary. Jill will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends.   Jill will be forever remembered for her potato and macaroni salads in the summer at the cottage at Highway Beach and in Brower. She also loved reading, and volunteering with the Cancer Society and the Anglican Ladies Auxiliary in Cochrane. Family received visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Saturday June 4, 2016. Summer interment will take place at Birch Hills Cemetery, Cochrane, Ontario.
