It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Linda was born and raised in Timmins and later made her home in Windsor, Ontario. Adoring mother of Matthew Rochon (Jennifer) and extremely proud grandmother “Mémère” to Adele, Alexandra and Adrian.

Linda is survived by her mother, Anita Rochon, and is reunited with her dear father O’Neil (2014). She will be lovingly remembered by her siblings André (Billie-Jo), Carole (Mike), and Nicole (Bill). She will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews Catherine (Joe), Joey (Stephanie), Cory (Cassie), Andréa Cloé, Amy-Lee and extended family.

Linda’s greatest pride and joy was her son. Her three grandchildren brought incredible purpose and light to her life. She loved attending their recitals, sporting events and playing with them. She was blessed with MANY beautiful and meaningful friendships that were filled with fun, laughter, and a shared commitment to service. A woman of deep faith, Linda found strength and solace in her beliefs, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and generosity. Her compassionate heart was evident in her relentless efforts to help those in need.

Linda was an enthusiastic lover of travel and the outdoors, finding joy and peace in every moment she spent surrounded by nature's beauty. Proud of her Métis and French-Canadian heritage, she celebrated her cultural roots with love and grace, sharing her history with those around her. She was passionately involved with many organizations championing women and Franco-Ontarians and worked most recently as an accredited courtroom, medical and conference interpreter.
