Police are turning to the public for help after $20,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from a vehicle.
Sometime between Feb. 27 at about 5:30 p.m. and Feb. 28 at 8:30 a.m., several boxes with jewelry were taken from a vehicle parked on Seventh Avenue, says Timmins Police.
The stolen items pictured include:
- Three-piece gold set (“Turkish link” as per the appraisal document).
- Hanging earrings, bracelet and necklace.
- Eight charms — three boys’ heads with inscription of birthdates on back, a Hawaiian charm with red stone, RN charm, circular “21” charm with four red stones, Christmas wreath with red stone, flower basket with multi-coloured stones and white pearls.
- One white and yellow gold serpentine necklace that's 18- to 20-inches in length.
- One pair of square-cut ruby and diamond European clasp earrings in yellow gold.
Other items that complainant recalls, but doesn’t have pictures of are:
- Two Pandora bracelets with 10-12 charms per bracelet. The silver bracelet has charms that are multi-coloured and some stones, some hanging, many travel items.
- One silver-coloured Pandora necklace with three to four charms including a family tree and cat paw.
- One pair of gold nugget stud earrings.
- One pair of Italian golden “seashell” stud earrings.
- One single-strand pearl necklace that 20 to 22-inches in length.
- One pair of pearl stud earrings with 10 karat gold posts.
- One triple strand of pearls with sterling silver link.
- One birch bark box with a sterling silver and pearl broach with matching earrings.
- One sterling silver set of earrings and necklace with brown-coloured stone.
- One costume jewelry pearl bracelet with gold-coloured metal.
- One gold-metal pocket watch with chain.
- One man’s shark’s tooth neck chain with brown and white stones.
- One gold antique filigree butterfly broach.
- One silver 18-inch chain with and eternity symbol and cat paw.
