COCHRANE - Police are asking for help to find who's responsible for two recent break-ins.
Both of the Cochrane incidents were reported on July 4.
In the early morning hours of that day, James Bay OPP says there was a break-in at the New Hope Church on Fifth Street. Computers were accessed and an acoustic guitar was stolen.
At the Scout Hall on Eleventh Avenue, police say the front door was pried open, items were taken and knives were stabbed into the wall. It's believed it happened sometime between July 3 at 6 p.m. and July 4 at 5 p.m.
Anyone with information on the break-ins is asked to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
