TIMMINS - Applications are open for students looking to work with the OPP next summer.
In the northeast region, OPP has four community policing assistant jobs open. The summer positions are located in North Bay, Sudbury, Timmins and Parry Sound.
It's part of the summer employment opportunities program. Interested students must be:
- Currently enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary institution or graduated no earlier than December 2024.
- Living in Ontario during their summer placement.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Ability to pass an OPP background security clearance
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You must have a valid Ontario G2 Driver's Licence or equivalent (or higher)
