TIMMINS - A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for a federal offender serving time for armed robbery and assault, among other offences.
The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) squad has issued a plea for the public's help to locate 30-year-old Brandon Roy. OPP say he's broken his statutory release, which is when federal offenders who have served two-thirds of their sentence are released from prison under supervision.
Roy is described as an Indigenous male who is 6-feet (180) centimetres tall, weighs 160 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
He's serving time for:
- Robbery - Armed Robbery
- Assault
- 3 counts of fail to comply with order at large
- Fail to Comply with SOIRA Reg Order
- 2 counts of fail to Attend Court
- 5 counts of theft under
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime-Over $5,000
Police say he's known to visit Timmins, Thunder Bay and Kenora.
