Police looking for video footage of downtown Timmins after break-in

Alfie's has publicly shared a break-and-enter at its convenience store, though police haven't confirmed if the incident being referenced is the same one

TIMMINS - Police are investigating another break-in at a downtown business.

The Timmins Police Service is asking for the public's help with the investigation, though their plea doesn't include the location of the business. 

The incident happened on Feb. 6 at 2:55 a.m. at a Third Avenue business, reads the release. Police say "officers are actively gathering evidence to determine the circumstances surrounding the crime."

Yesterday (Feb. 6), Alfie's shared a video of a break-in at its convenience store on Third Avenue. The time stamp on the video is 3 a.m. Timmins Police has not responded to a question about if Alfie's is the break-in referenced in their release. 

Police are looking for surveillance footage, dashcam recordings or other information that could help investigators. The timeframe for the video footage is 2:45 a.m. to 3:15 a.m. in the downtown core.
