Time's up to sign up: Here's who's on the Timmins ballot

TIMMINS - Time has run out to sign up as a candidate for the Ontario election. 

The deadline to register with Elections Ontario was today (Feb. 13) at 2 p.m. 

The ballot is now full in Timmins, with five people in the running. The candidates are: Liberal Dominic Casto, New Blue Party David Farrell, NDP Corey Lepage, PC George Pirie, and Green Marie-Josée Yelle. 

New names have also been added to the list in neighbouring ridings.

Four people are running in Mushkegowuk-James Bay — Liberal Kyle Allen, NDP Guy Bourgouin, Green Catherine Jones and PC Dave Plourde.

Five names are on the ballot in Timiskaming-Cochrane. The candidates are PC Tory Delaurier, Liberal Rick Ellsmere, New Blue Party Stephen MacLeod, Green Kris Rivard, and NDP John Vanthof. 

Election day is on Feb. 27.
