Foster Family Appreciation Week Food Drive and BBQ
Saturday, Oct. 14, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Johnson's Your Independent Grocer

The North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services (NEOFACS) and the Foster Families Association Ontario North-East are hosting the annual event. Community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food, cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to help fill the Timmins Food Bank shelves. Hot dogs, hamburgers and beverages will also be available to buy.

Board Game Collection Launch
Saturday, Oct. 14, 2 p.m.
Timmins Public Library

The Timmins Public Library special collection is possible thanks to a sponsorship from Caisse Alliance and the Timmins and Area Board Game Group. No registration is required for this family-friendly, bilingual and inclusive event. All of the new games will be available to check out at both library branches. The launch for the South Porcupine collection is on Saturday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. For more information, email [email protected].

The Timmins Concert Singers Present ... An Evening with the Ennis Sisters
Saturday, Oct. 14, 7:30 p.m.
O'Gorman High School, 150 George St. 

The Ennis Sisters are back in town to perform songs from their new album, as well as a few numbers with the Timmins Concert Singers. Tickets are $35 and are available from concert members or online here.

Oktoberfest Dance
Saturday, Oct. 14, 7 p.m.
Schumacher Lions Den, 85 McIntyre Rd.

Celebrate the season with traditional German music played by DJ Wolfman Westy. Admission is $10. Prizes will be available.

Timmins Stamp Club Meeting
Sunday, Oct. 15, 1-3 p.m.
Timmins Museum: NEC, 325 Second Ave.

Join the monthly meeting of the local club. New members are always welcome.
