A local business leader is taking a seat at a national board table.

Timmins Chamber CAO Keitha Robson was elected on June 14 as a staff director representing Ontario on the Chambers of Commerce Insurance Corporation of Canada (CCICC). She'll serve a three-year term on the not-for profit organization.

"It is an honour to be elected to the board of directors of the CCICC. I look forward to working with my colleagues from across the country to support the needs of our members and to contribute to the ongoing success of the CCICC," said Robson in a news release.

Robson recently celebrated her 26th anniversary with the local business organization.

The Chamber says that her extensive experience led to being elected to the board.

"We are thrilled to see Keitha take on this important role," said Kraymr Grenke, 2023-24 Timmins Chamber president.

"Her commitment to our local business community and expertise in organizational leadership makes her an excellent choice for the board of directors. We are confident that she will make significant contributions to the CCICC, benefiting not only our region but also the national business landscape."
