A lucky man from Chapleau is now over $300,000 richer.
Jacques Tremblay found out on New Year's Eve that he'd purchased the winning ticket for the December Timmins and District Hospital Foundation (TADH) 50/50 draw. He is taking home $308,290.
When asked about his plans for the money, he said he'd like to travel, help his family out, and maybe "spoil himself" by purchasing a side-by-side he's interested in.
Tremblay supports the foundation because his mom is in the hospital and has received great care during her stay.
The January 50/50 draw tickets are available online.
