City hall reopening to the public

Staff will be monitoring access to the building and doors will be locked at all times

As restrictions loosen in the region, people will be able to do business in person with the City of timmins.

The Porcupine Health Unit is moving to Step One of the provincial Roadmap to Reopen on Friday, June 25.

Tomorrow, city hall will reopen to the public for people to pay their taxes, water and sewer bills, parking tickets and permits. Provincial Offences and city building and planning services will also be open. Service Timmins is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 

Meetings with city staff will continue to be done virtually.

Staff will monitor access to the building and the doors will remain locked at all times, according to the City of Timmins announcement. 

Three people are allowed in at a time, with one person at each front counter. People will be given a colour-coded card upon entry to show what service is being accessed.

Masks are required to enter the building.
