TIMMINS - The generosity of people across the city is helping make sure everyone has a happy holiday season.
The 13th annual Fill and Ambulance toy drive filled two ambulances with gifts and raised $4,548 in cash.
Hosted by the Cochrane District Paramedic Services, the donations are for the North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services' (NEOFACS) Community Angel Campaign. It supports children and youth receiving NEOFACS services.
This year's toy drive results surpassed last year when two ambulances were filled and $4,125 in cash was donated. Since 2020, the Cochrane District Services Board (CDSB) says since 2020, the campaign has raised over $22,000 and filled 10 ambulances.
