There are a few changes to the overnight parking ban for the holidays.
Timmins council has approved lifting the overnight on-street parking ban each year on Dec. 25, Dec. 26 and Jan. 1.
There is a city bylaw banning parking on the streets from 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. during the winter months.
The changes mean that if you have a few drinks with family and friends Christmas Eve, Christmas Day or New Year's Eve, your vehicle can stay parked on the street.
