Freezing rain warning issued for:
   Timmins - Cochrane - Iroquois Falls, Ont.
   Gogama - Foleyet, Ont.
   North Bay - Powassan - Mattawa, Ont. 

Current details:
Ice build-up due to freezing rain is expected or occurring.

Hazards:
Patchy, light freezing rain this evening. Moderate freezing rain beginning early Saturday morning.
Slippery conditions due to icing.

Timing:
Continuing this evening. Ending Saturday afternoon.

Discussion:
Freezing rain intensity is expected to increase Saturday morning. Above freezing temperatures are expected Saturday afternoon ending the freezing rain threat.

Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots will become icy, slippery and hazardous. Ice build-up may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur.

Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance.
