Shortly after 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening, crews from the Timmins Fire Department, Mountjoy Station along with Police and an ambulance were called out to handle a fire at Star Lake, approximately forty kilometers southwest of Timmins.
The property, located on Little Star Lake Road sustained significant damage but fire crews appeared to be able to contain the flames and prevent them from spreading to neighbouring properties or the surrounding forest.
