Northern Ontario artists are on display in Timmins.
Allsorts! is a new exhibit at the Timmins Museum: NEC for the next month. The opening reception is on Thursday, Oct. 19 at 5 p.m.
The exhibit runs until Nov. 20 and features the works of Lionel Venne and Cal Knight. They will both be at the opening.
"The colourful exhibition is exactly (what) it says it is — all sorts! Both artists explore northern themes and ideas through abstract works — collage and mixed media for Lionel, intricate pointilism for Cal," reads a news release.
The museum is open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
