Sometime between December 19th and January 6th, unknown thieves gained entry into a Hydro One work location in Kapuskasing and made off with nearly $15,000 in power tools and spools of copper.

The thieves breached the locked fence around the work location of Government Road West and forced their way into a commercial storage structure.

Grinders, crimpers, drills, nail-guns and saws with brand names such as Hilti and Milwaukee are among the items taken along with roughly $5000 in copper wire .

Public utility work stations are located throughout northern Ontario.

When they are victimized by theft, we all pay the price.
