Water levels on local waterways are higher than normal.
For the past day, there has been rain and freezing rain in the area, causing flooding that is not typical for this time of year.
At the Mattagami River docks this afternoon the water was near the top of the boat launch entrance. It had also risen over the paths nearest to the water.
Today, the Mattagami Regional Conservation Authority issued a flood warning for the Mattagami River and Porcupine Lake area.
A freezing rain warning remains in effect for Timmins, Cochrane and Iroquois Falls.
