At approximately 12:30 p.m. on December 12, 2014, police responded to a call regarding a male who was reported to be brandishing knives inside a residence in the area of Cedar Street North.
When officers arrived at the residence, the male proceeded outdoors with the weapons; however the subject dropped the weapons shortly after police arrival.
The individual was apprehended under the Mental Health Act, and transported to hospital.
No injuries were sustained as a result of this incident.
