TIMMINS - With the local services board members talking about what services the agency should offer, we want to know where you stand on it.
At the Oct. 17 Cochrane District Services Board (CDSB) meeting, members talked if the agency should continue offering non-mandated services or stick with its core services.
The core mandated services of the CDSB are paramedic services, community housing, children's services and Ontario Works.
Since the district social services administration boards were created in the late '90s, CDSB CAO Brian Marks says the local board has been "progressive" in adding extra services.
The conversation started after a curt email from an unnamed resident suggesting that the CDSB 'stick to housing'.
