Rain didn't stop the Pride (13 photos)

Rain didn't stop the pride and positivity at the fourth annual Pride Parade in Timmins on Saturday

June 10 was the fourth annual Pride Rally and Parade in Timmins.

Speeches and entertainment were held at the Hollinger Park, which was also where the parade began. Matthieu Villeneuve is the new Timmins Pride Committee president; however it was the past president, Julie DeMarchi that was announcing the various acts, speeches and parade start time.

The parade route started at Algonquin Boulevard and ended on Brunette Road with participants walking or driving the route.

Although there was plenty of rain, the spirits of those in attendance were high. Mayor Steve Black, NDP Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson, and Crimson Dawn Klingon Assault Group were there in support of the Fierte Timmins Pride.
