TIMMINS - There's a new leader at the head of the public school board table.
Tuesday, District School Board Ontario North East (DSB1) trustees named their new chair and vice-chair, with both positions being acclaimed.
Cindy Pye-Reasbeck, who was the vice-chair last year, is moving into the chair's seat. She replaces trustee Steve Meunier.
Jonathan Byer is the new vice-chair.
Pye-Reasbeck and Byer will both serve a one-year term in the leadership roles.
