TIMMINS - The winner has been named for the November draw of the hospital's 50/50 draw.
Brigitte Gagnon picked up $127,052 in the monthly Timmins and District Hospital Foundation raffle.
"We would have loved to show you a video of our call to Brigitte but she decided not to answer right away (she was out shoveling)! When she did call us back, she was ecstatic," reads the foundation announcement.
Gagnon supports the draw every month, usually buying a ticket the first day it opens.
"As for what she thought some of the money may go towards, Brigitte mentioned that they were close to retirement, Christmas and no doubt they will be sharing some with family," reads the announcement.
The hospital's portion of the November cash is for a new fluoroscopy suite in the diagnostic imaging department.
