The Terry Fox Trail will be closed this week to allow for tree removal.
According to a notice from the City of Timmins, the trail will be closed between Mountjoy Street South and Birch Street South from 7:30 a.m. March 7 to about 4 p.m. March 8.
“This is necessary in order to cut down and remove some large, dead trees,” reads the notice.
The suggested alternate walking route is to take Moneta Avenue between Mountjoy and Birch.
