Princesses, superheroes, ghosts, and goblins braved the cold for candy this morning.
Thursday morning saw over 55 Timmins BIA member businesses handing out candy for the annual trick-or-treat event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Despite the rainy, cold weather several groups were going door to door and collecting chocolates and other treats. When asked, chocolate was the overwhelming favourite of most of the early trick-or-treaters.
Many of the staff in the downtown businesses were ready in costumes of their own with treats piled high. Treats can be found at any business with a trick-or-treaters welcome sign.
A complete list of participating businesses is available at the Downtown Timmins BIA Facebook page.
