Water from the Mattagami River is spilling over onto trails and roads.
Because of the rising water, Norman Street South of Cedar Meadows is closed. Access to Cedar Meadows is from the Lafleur Street Bridge north of the hotel.
The CIty of Timmins is also reminding people to be vigilant around flooded areas as the water levels rise.
For people needing sand bags to protect their property, filling stations are set up at the Mountjoy Arena and Confederation Sports Centre.
A flood warning for the river and Porcupine Lake was extended last week. The Timmins Flood Advisory Committee is expected to update the status today.
