Summer Concert Series 
Tuesday, July 9, 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Schumacher Lions Club Park behind the McIntyre Community Building 

Lelie Anne Dupuis and Band are taking the stage for the free weekly concert. If weather stops the show, the raindate is the following day (Wednesday). Bring a chair and some cash for the community barbecue. It’s hosted by the Timmins Concert Series and Schumacher Lions Club.

Downtown Timmins Urban Market

It’s fairy tale week at the Urban Park, and we’re celebrating the Public Library’s anniversary with  community corganizations and children’s activities at Hollinger Park for this week.

This celebration that’s been a century in the making will feature local artists and performers, a children’s fun area, free barbecue sponsored by Fountain Tire, a community partner village, historical display, photo booth and adult mural painting.

Pickleball Tournament
Saturday, July 13, 2024 , 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
McIntyre Curling Club

The McIntyre Curling Club is hosting a pickleball tournament on July 13th. The cost is $25 per First Pickleball tournament happening at the Mac on July 13th. Payment can be made via etransfer to [email protected]. Ensure to register at the same email and indicate what divisions you will be participating in and with who (singles or doubles). We will find a doubles partner if necessary.

This popular market is set up weekly until Thanksgiving. Stop by every week to pick up fresh local food, shop the crafters and artisans, and learn more about local organizations.

The Hollinger Open Pit Lookout 

Get a glimpse into Newmont Porcupine’s active mining operation in the middle of town. New this year is a bust of mining pioneer Benny Hollinger, who discovered the mine in 1909. It’s open seasonally seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. except when the mine is blasting, which is twice a day.
