Calling all cricket fans! Timmins Tigers Cricket Club is proud to host the 2024 Mayor's Cup! Join in for a thrilling weekend of cricket with teams from Sudbury, Thunder Bay, and Oshawa. Come out and support your local team, Timmins Tigers, as we battle it out for the Mayor's Cup!

Summer Open Studio
Sunday, July 7, noon - 4 p.m.

Drop by the Porcupine Art Club on Sundays between Noon and 4:00 p.m. during the summer to meet with the artists, see demonstrations, and learn about the club. Artwork is on display and for sale.

All ages are welcome to visit, and there is no cost to attend. Rain or shine, our studio will be open!

The Hollinger Open Pit Lookout 

Get a glimpse into Newmont Porcupine’s active mining operation in the middle of town. New this year is a bust of mining pioneer Benny Hollinger, who discovered the mine in 1909. It’s open seasonally seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. except when the mine is blasting, which is twice a day.
