The Northern Ontario Handmade Market is back at the McIntyre Community Building this Saturday, Nov. 16.

Handmade Holiday Market
Saturday, Nov. 16, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
McIntyre Community Building, 85 McIntyre Rd. 

Northern Ontario Handmade’s popular market is back for its Christmas edition. Shop over 60 makers from Timmins and area and beyond. 

Golden Manor Market
Saturday, Nov. 16, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Golden Manor auditorium, 481 Melrose Blvd.

The second-annual event features handmade ornaments, decorations, blankets and more. Everything has been made by Golden Manor residents, families and staff. All of the money raised helps create items for future craft sales and the resident enhancement fund, which residents use to make a purchase of their choosing to benefit the home. Only cash is accepted.

10th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
Sunday, Nov. 17, 5:45 p.m.
Hollinger Park, Timmins

This year’s theme is Go big … or go back to the North Pole! Stage by the City of Timmins and Newmont Porcupine, there will be a festive French sing-a-long with the Lapointe sisters, a performance by Pat Picard School of Dance, free hot chocolate, Dream Acres alpacas, and Santa. Non-perishable food items are being collected for the local food banks.

Timmins Museum: NEC, 325 Second Ave. 

This exhibition of work is on display in the museum's Grey Gallery. It features 11 artists who interpreted two poems of their choice, using a variety of media and artistic approaches. The poems used as inspiration are part of the exhibit. Entry to the museum and exhibit are free.
