There's a heavy police presence in the Temiskaming Shores area as officers look for a teen last seen on Tuesday.
Fourteen-year-old Ira was last seen on Sept. 3.
The day before, he and a 43-year-old man had gone for a walk and didn't return to their camp in Tudhope Township. They were both reported missing to the Temiskaming OPP.
On Sept. 3, the 43-year-old was found in good health. said police. When Ira, whose last name was not provided by police, was last seen on Sept. 3 he was wearing shorts, a blue T-shirt and Crocs. The last sighting was in a wooded area off of Barber Cane Township Road, which is northwest of Temiskaming Shores.
The area has been searched by the OPP's emergency response team (ERT), canine unit. aviation services, remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS) and the joint rescue coordination centre. The teen has not been found yet.
A heavy police presence is expected in the area for the search.
